Economic independence begins with skills to get that job!

TrainingMothers In Action understands that economics is a major plight of our community that will not be cured without creative and innovative methods to employ the under-skilled.

Mothers In Action now offers an exceptionally comprehensive Job Training and Preparedness program through the Employment Department Workforce Investment Act. All applicants must be 18 or older and a U.S. Citizen/eligible non-citizen. Everyone is welcome to participate in any or all segments of this state of the art program.

core services

Anyone age 18 or older can receive the Core Services offered at Mothers in Action.

intensive services

These services are available to adults and dislocated workers who have completed one or more Core Services and are still unable to gain employment or who are employed and have been determined to be in need of services to get a better job in order to gain self-sufficiency.

training services

These services are available to employed and unemployed adults and dislocated workers who have completed one or more Intensive Services and still cannot obtain employment leading to self-sufficiency.
